House on Ellicott's Hill

Deemed the architectural gem of Natchez, it occupies the site where in 1797 Major Andre Ellicott, on orders from George Washington, defied Spanish authority and raised the American flag for the first time in the Lower Mississippi Valley.

Stanton Hall

In 1857, Irish immigrant and cotton merchant Frederick Stanton began construction on the home of his dreams: a palatial Greek Revival style residence in the heart of Natchez. Then known as Belfast, Stanton's home occupied an entire city block and cost over $83,000 before it was even furnished. Marble mantel pieces were imported from New York, ornate gasoliers were purchased from Philadelphia, and immense mirrors were ordered from France. The facade of Stanton's home was equally impressive with its Corinthian columns and delicate cast iron railings.

Choctaw Hall

Choctaw Hall was built around 1836 and features a blend of Greek Revival to Federal styles. There are 4 floors and with the Bed and Breakfast's four bedrooms residing on the ground floor with separate entrances from the main top three floors of the home which are connected by an swirling oval staircase. Double porches with white columns bookend the front and back of house making every scene a picture perfect backdrop.

The Rosalie

Located at the corner of Canal and Orleans Street, this home is a National Historic Landmark. Daily tours are available along with a gift shop. Rosalie has a Federal Style of architecture and is an antebellum mansion. Owned and operated by the Mississippi State Society Daughters of the American Revolution, it is located on a high bluff overlooking the Mississippi River. 

The Great Mississippi River Balloon Race

The Great Mississippi River Balloon Race is Mississippi's most exciting hot air balloon race weekend! Two balloon flights take place each day, weather permitting. Pilots compete as they fly over the cities of Natchez, Vidalia, and the mighty Mississippi River. Our balloon festival weekend starts with the Balloon Glow Friday night, and continues through Sunday evening with a stage full of World Renowned Musicians. The festival itself takes place on the grounds of Rosalie Bicentennial Gardens, On Broadway Street in historic downtown Natchez.

Music Festival

The Natchez Festival of Music provides positive performing opportunities for outstanding up and coming young artists during the Season and leading up to the Season. Home to the Festival is the Margaret Martin Performing Arts Center, 64 Homochitto Street, Natchez, Mississippi. Events are also held at venues such as the grand mansions and historical churches of Natchez as well as other historical sites in the area.

Natchez Little Theatre

Entertaining the Miss-Lou since 1932 and home of Southern Exposure, The Mississippi Medicine Show and A Natchez Christmas Carol! Celebrating 80 years, Natchez Little Theatre is America's most active non-profit volunteer community theatre and the oldest in Mississippi.

Angels on the Bluff

Bluffs Blues Fest

Bluff Park is the perfect place to rest and relax as you gaze across the waters of the mighty Mississippi. Natchez Historic City Tour

Civil War Reenactment

Grand Village of the Natchez Indians

This area features a museum, reconstructed Natchez Indian house, and three ceremonial mounds.

Historic Jefferson College

A lovely historic site that is on the National Register of Historic Places. Visitors can tour the grounds.

Horse-drawn carriage tours are offered through the heart of the Natchez Historic District featuring antebellum mansions & Victorian townhouses, over 30 antique shops, and the historic Natchez City Cemetery.

Beau Pre Country Club - This course, located on a bluff, features rolling terrain and scenic canyon vistas. The wide, undulating fairways and large, receptive greens have garnered rave reviews from local golfers.

Duncan Park Golf Club - This course's terrain varies in undulation, so be prepared for a variety of lies. In addition, many of the trees lining the fairways can alter your shots, and water hazards come into play on a couple holes.

Natchez Trace National Scenic Trail

There is currently 63 miles of the Natchez Trace National Scenic Trail open for use in four areas along the Natchez Trace Parkway.
